Allison, Manager & Patient Advocate
I began my career in dentistry as an assistant where I learned a lot about dental health and how different procedures are completed. The knowledge I gained in my time as an assistant has only helped me excel at the administration side of dentistry.
My role in the office is to make sure patients receive the best possible treatment and service. I am the bridge between the clinical staff, administrators, dentists and patients. As well as an insurance expert for complicated treatments. I am always available by phone or email for any feedback, questions, concerns and of-course complains. I am always available for emergencies outside office hours. I can be reached at 613-979-7595 or email@example.com.
Not only do I understand the steps in the process to complete your recommended treatment plan, but also how to use your insurance to the best of it’s ability so there is minimal cost to you. I value all of my patients and always have time to explain things in more detail and to discuss pros and cons of any situation. I treat my patients like I would a best friend. I love to get to know you in the time we have before the appointment and it is my goal to make sure you leave our office completely satisfied and looking forward to your next visit.
Kayla, Treatment Co-ordinator
Kayla has been working in the dental field as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for over 10 years, becoming a part of our team in 2016. After her maternity leave, she returned to our clinic part time as our Financial Coordinator. Kayla excels in dealing with insurance claims and getting the most out of your benefits, and explaining complicated financials. Kayla’s fear of the dentist as a child is what drove her in to the dental field, in hopes to help alleviate the stress she once felt for anyone else who may struggle with the same fears. She has a great love of people, and is always willing to help with any questions or concerns that you may have and be a sympathetic ear. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her twin daughters, husband, and animals. Kayla is the financial coordinator at all three offices, and can be contacted directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.

I was born and raised in Pembroke, ON, graduated Dental Assisting in 2012 from La cite collegiale. Continued into Dental Hygiene and graduated in 2016. I am one of the newest member of the team and absolutely love the office and the people. I enjoy playing lots of sports/outdoor activities and spending time with my family/friends.
I was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. I moved to Ottawa seeking a career in healthcare, since I knew that what I wanted to do most in my future career, was to help people achieve optimal health. Dental hygiene stood out as a career path that I wanted to take since I would be able to not only build relationships with such a diverse community, but also help them achieve optimal oral health. I joined Gateway Dentistry in 2018 and I am very passionate in what I do and love to educate my patients. Coming from a family that has always struggled with oral health, I am proud to be able to advocate for dental health in and out of the office and make a difference.
Jamie is a Registered dental hygienist with a passion for microbiology and oral health promotion. Jamie was born and grew up in Kanata, and spent time working in Jasper National park. Jamie has worked in the hospitality industry and attended Algonquin College for an advanced diploma of Dental Hygiene here in Ottawa. In her spare time she might be found at a local hockey rink with her son Luka, or at the dog park with her dog Walley. In the summer Jamie loves to camp in Algonquin Park. Jamie enjoys meeting new patients, and collaborating as an oral health prevention specialist. It is Jamie’s philosophy that each patient has unique needs, and will happily modify her technique while upholding best practices set out by the College of Dental hygienists of Ontario.

Helping everyone around the clinic such as dentists, assistants, hygienists and admin staff has really given me great insight into many aspects of the dental field. Due to my experience in the clinic, you can ask me just about anything and I will most definitely help you out, or direct you to the right person! My goal is to always ensure that all patients are 100% satisfied with their visit!
